Launched in 2013, Creative Differences is a not-for-profit agency which exists for the benefit of its clients. We represent people who believe in challenging the boundaries of what individual performers can achieve, working collaboratively to share skills and build our collective experience.
Our clients have our full support to seek the career they want, when they want and how they want. We believe our clients know their skills and limitations better than anyone else, so we allow them to put themselves forward for work on a variety of casting platforms, without the need to highlight a role to us first. This cuts down on the time between seeing a role and being submitted for it and ensures clients are only put forward for roles they want to be considered for. All we ask is that clients include reference to the agency in their application and keep us informed of what they are up to so we can support them by promoting their work on our website and via social media.
In addition to be being promoted via social media, Creative Differences provides each client with a tailored CV, a presence on our website and can arrange discounted headshots with an Essex based photographer. We do not ask for up-front fees, or charge an annual membership fee. Our administration costs are recouped by charging a small commission fee on any work obtained through the agency. However, we do not take any commission on work our clients secure directly. In exchange, all we ask is that clients behave professionally at all times and keep us informed of developments in their career so we can ensure their details on our website and their CV remain accurate.
Unlike some agencies, Creative Differences are happy for our clients to seek additional work as Supporting Artists. This is because we recognise your need to work and earn. Our clients are welcome to register with as many extras agencies as they would like and are not be expected to pay any commission to us on income generated from work in this field, so they never need to worry about telling us what they're doing, or using a different name for their credits. We are happy when our clients are happy and will promote their activities and successes, regardless of whether the work has been found by us or not as we know how much effort people make to find work in the industry and want to support our clients in everything they do.
